Aquionics has announced a key appointment that strengthens its position as a leading provider of high-quality ultraviolet (UV) disinfection technology. Steve Doyle will assume the role of Regional Sales Manager for the United States western territory and will be responsible for providing efficient and reliable water and wastewater treatment solutions to the region’s municipal market.

Doyle has an extensive knowledge of municipal water and wastewater treatment applications. He joins Aquionics from Börger, where he held the position of Northwest Regional Manager, with responsibility for business development in the municipal market, providing solutions for customers’ pumping and macerating challenges. Prior to that, Doyle worked in a sales and development role with Correct Equipment, which supplies process equipment, pump systems, controls and instrumentation to the municipal water and wastewater industry in the Pacific Northwest. Before working in this sector, Doyle served in the US Marine Corps for 11 years. A winner of the Navy Achievement Medal, he attained the rank of platoon sergeant and saw active service in the Gulf War as part of the Desert Shield and Desert Storm operations.

“With demand for UV disinfection technology increasing in municipal water and wastewater applications, Steve’s appointment to this role is an important addition to the Aquionics team,” said Ken Kershner, Regional Director at Aquionics. “His understanding of the municipal water industry will enable us to advise our customers on advanced and reliable UV disinfection technology and help solve their toughest water treatment challenges.”
