UV Water Disinfection from Aquionics at IUVA Americas

Aquionics will be highlighting its UV LED disinfection line, Pearl, along with its traditional mercury y UV disinfection systems at the IUVA Americas Regional Conference, booth 9. The show takes place October 26 – 28, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (White Plains, New York).

Aquionics’ Pearl line of UV LED disinfection products uses highly efficient UV-C LED technology. The resulting compact equipment boasts long lamp life and low maintenance. The newest addition to this range is the PearlBeam, a table-top, homogenized UV delivery system. The PearlBeam is an ideal tool either for laboratory or site-based biodosimetry UV testing.
The PearlAqua provides mercury-free, low power UV-C LED disinfection for low flow applications. In 2013, the PearlAqua was awarded the coveted International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) Product Innovation Award.

The PearlSense UV-C LED transmittance monitor delivers fast, accurate readings as either a handheld portable field monitor or a compact in-process instrument. In process, the PearlSense can be installed in an open channel configuration or directly installed into a pressurized pipe. Aquionics will be giving away a PearlSense to one lucky winner during the show (the entry period is now closed for IUVA Americas but is still open for IUVA Delft).

Show visitors will also learn about Aquionics’ traditional UV disinfection range, including the new AmaLine and the PureLine. The highly compact, low pressure, high output (LPHO) multi-lamp AmaLine system has the highest lamp power density of any similar-sized system. Advanced hydraulics rotate liquid flow to ensure optimal disinfection with minimal head-loss. The PureLine provides validated and chemical-free treatment of process water, using either low pressure high output or medium pressure lamps to safely disinfect.
