UV Water Disinfection from Aquionics at WEFTEC
New AmaLine LPHO UV disinfection system debuts
Aquionics will be exhibiting UV disinfection equipment at WEFTEC September 29 – October 1, 2014 at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center (New Orleans, La.), booth 3134.
Aquionics will be exhibiting its UV disinfection range for municipal water and wastewater treatment applications. Debuting at WEFTEC 2014 is the new AmaLine system for drinking water and reuse. A highly compact, low pressure, high output (LPHO) multi-lamp UV system, AmaLine has the highest lamp power density of any similar-sized system. Its hydraulics rotate the liquid flow to ensure optimal disinfection with minimal head-loss. Aquionics is conducting validation over a broad range of flows and UV-T to meet all global drinking water standards.
Aquionics has also recently expanded its popular InLine+ series, with the more compact InLine+SE. Designed to provide maximum disinfection in a small footprint, the InLine+SE unit can be installed against a wall or in any tight fitting space. Only access to a single end of the chamber is needed for maintenance.
Also at the booth will be Aquionics’ Pearl line of UV LED disinfection products. The PearlAqua is a mercury-free, low power UV-C LED disinfection unit for low flow applications. The PearlSense UV-C LED transmittance monitor delivers fast, accurate readings as either a handheld portable field monitor or a compact in-process instrument. In process, the PearlSense can be installed in an open channel configuration or directly installed into a pressurized pipe.
